Visitors will see a wide variety of forms and techniques. There are the rich barium blues of my earlier work alongside the torn edges, cracks and slumped shapes of more recent times. Currently I am working with a fairly subtle palette using different clays. This involves stretching and layering the clay then imprinting the surface - printmaking with clay and glaze instead of paper and ink. I am also exploring themes and concepts using lettering and text-based work, and influences range from American gun culture through Jazz to Japanese haiku.
