Over the last year, I have been exploring new subjects in a series of paintings depicting shorescapes and woodland scenes, with different seasonal colours and conditions of light and shade. The variety of textures and colours of stone and foliage, and the intricate patterns of shadows cast by rocks and trees, I find endlessly fascinating and have presented new challenges in composition and technique. Visitors will see work in progress using water-thinned acrylics. Completed paintings, prints and greetings cards will be on display and available for purchase.
