Visitors will see paintings showing glimpses of landscape highlighted by sunlight between shifting clouds; hills and coast beckoning us to explore; softening effects of distance and the allure of far horizons and the sea. I like to portray particular places, often in Galloway, which visitors will feel a connection with, though locations are often transformed by memory.

In contrast, my Sea Spirit series continues with new paintings showing the freshness and movement of waves, close-up. Another small group will hopefully delight with turquoise beauty from the Western Isles.
