My woodblock prints are progressing in various ways – many of my new designs are on a bigger scale, yet at the same time the level of detail in the carving is also increasing. These developments pose considerable challenges in terms of the Japanese water-based hand printing processes I employ, but it is a hugely satisfying and rewarding experience when my efforts pay off. Carving tools, woodblocks, and my printing press will all be on show to aid visitors in their understanding of how my prints are made.
