Hazel Campbell

The biggest change in my work over the last year has been the introduction of bamboo and ink. I love the dry, scratchy lines beside areas of thick gouache, and the reaction of the ink with wet paint. I regularly work in oil, using oil pastel for accents. Subject matter includes landscape and still life using a fairly broad brush approach.

Visitors to my studio can enjoy the large vegetable garden which provides much stimulation, and the calf shed nearby provides entertainment and interest for children.
