Hilary McElderry
I draw fabric of a rich variety of colour and pattern using coloured pencils, with the occasional addition of inks, watercolour and gouache. I arrange the fabrics both naturalistically and in geometric patterns, rather like in patchwork quilts. I am also working on still-lives of favourite objects. I worked as a children's illustrator for many years and visitors will be able to see my illustrations as posters, prints, books and greeting cards.
