Jennifer Smith

I create original prints specialising in the collagraph printmaking technique. This method creates unpredictable results enabling me to create dynamic, textural and vibrant prints with an emphasis on colour.

I am inspired by the stunning natural beauty in Wigtownshire. My recent work explores the diverse coastal landscape of the Machars, particularly the rich textures and constantly changing colours that can be seen in the area.

Visitors can gain an insight into the Printmaking process and see demonstrations of how a collagraph print is created on my converted mangle printing press.
