The Solway is renowned for its vast mudflats, fast flowing tides, beautiful sunsets and its native and migratory birds. It is these birds, especially the winter migrants that stop me dead in my track. It is the sight and sounds of the ducks and geese which have always inspired me and provide endless images to sketch and paint. Visitors to my studio will see the connection between my work, the stunning views, the birds and other wildlife that make this area unforgettable.
