There’s no such thing as an ordinary face. If you think there is, you aren’t looking close enough.
As artist-in-residence at the Wigtown Book Festival 2011, I took over 170 portraits of authors, visitors and residents. These were then printed out and placed around the walls of the studio.
“The Hut”, behind ReadingLasses café and bookshop, is open again for Spring Fling 2012, so come along, take a look at the portraits and have a chat about them. See if you recognise any faces and perhaps get your own photo taken.
