I still seem to be obsessed by the range and depth of the black and white image. My drawings are developed from a combination of digital photographic image and freehand mark-making, often to quite a large scale. Like so many, I am inspired by the shores and hills of Galloway and beyond – close details of rocky beaches; wind-blown trees; unexpected waterfalls; still pools of waterlilies... I will also have a range of hand-printed etchings and hand-made books.
