I love being outside recording the changing landscape across different points in the year.  My work remains founded in observation, expressed through drawing.  This forms the basis for larger paintings using pen-and-ink and watercolour . The controlled irregularity of allotments, continues to fascinate me and I've visited several new locations this year. Trees of all kinds inspire me, especially the elegance revealed in their branches and twigs. These are compelling subjects for my print-making using my own press and the facilities at the Gracefield.
