Philippa Sinclair
I work mainly in watercolour. Although the most challenging of mediums, when mastered it produces translucent, ethereal images. I am a colourist, so the use of strong pigments and the play of light are key elements in the process of creating my paintings. My overall aim is to reveal and transcribe the essential and vital elements of a chosen image. My inspiration comes from the land, sea and sky, and man-made sites. I will be exhibiting paintings in various genres featuring local and international scenes.
