Amanda Simmons: Finalist for Emerge 2012

Spring Flinger Amanda Simmons has just been selected as a finalist for Emerge 2012! Amanda is now busy packing her work, 21 Causeymire (image above) to be exhibited in Bullseye Gallery in Portland, Oregon USA from April 2012.

With hundreds of applications received each year, Emerge showcases the kiln-glass work of emerging artists from around the world. The 2012 biennial juried competition offers substantial prizes and representation in a full-colour exhibition catalogue. Artworks will be installed at Bullseye Gallery in Portland, where finalists will be recognised at a festive opening reception and awards ceremony.
