As a trained fine artist, I chose to work in the medium of fibre some fifteen years ago to explore colour, texture and form, to create vibrant and considered artworks in sympathy with the natural beauty of the land and seascapes of Dumfries & Galloway.
What to expect: As Scotland’s most southerly artist and art space, visitors will experience the beauty of the landscape and my artistic response. I will demonstrate the felting process using wool fibres, silk and art yarns creating texture and form finishing with free motion stitching.
