At my studio, visitors can expect to see up-to-date examples of my work: oil paintings, high quality giclee prints and cards. I shall also be displaying works in progress and working sketchbooks.
What to expect: My work is principally concerned with the Galloway landscape: its structure, its colours and its ever-changing moods. My paintings are reconstructions, derived from sketches done on the spot. I also give the same treatment to my still lifes.
Directions: At the Newton Stewart roundabout on the A75, turn left towards Wigtown. Pass the primary school on the left at the T-junction, turn right. The Bookshop is on the right.
Accessibility: The Studio is on the first floor of The Book Shop with no wheelchair access.
Recommendation: The Bookshop – The venue itself is the biggest in Scotland’s Book Town, housing one of the most varied collections in Scotland.
