My work uses photography to explore pattern, detail and texture in the natural and human-made world. My subjects range from tiny features that people do not notice to whole landscapes. I want my work to show others how I see the world.
What to expect: A friendly welcome to a studio by the sea. Lots of work to see from cards to framed pieces. I can demonstrate digital image processing and printing. Visitors can see my workspace and learn about the photographic tools that I use. Coffee and cake too!
Directions: Turn south off the B727 between Kirkcudbright and Borgue signposted Brighouse Bay & Ross Bay. After 1m, turn left, signposted Ross Bay. Follow the signs and arrows for another mile.
Accessibility: Access is possible crossing one small step. Inside, the studio is all on one floor.
Recommendation: Borgue Hotel – A family-run pub and hotel offering good home-cooked food. The owners are very supportive of local artists.
