I make tailored jackets and coats in tweed and also embroider deliciously sheer cashmere scarves and shawls based on my watercolours and drawings. I have always been a perfectionist when it comes to attention to detail and fit. I make all my own designs and patterns.
What to expect: My studio is at the bottom of a cottage garden nestled among trees and overlooking the Hass Burn. Full to the brim with fabrics, patterns, clothes, shawls and scarves. This year we will have a small cafe in the garden serving teas, coffee and cake.
Directions: To be found at the bottom of the village on the B711, the pale pink and green house is near the bridge as the road bears right.
Accessibility: There are three steps up into the studio.
Recommendation: The Earths Crust Bakery in Castle Douglas has gorgeous breads and cakes and lovely lunches.
