My paintings try to evoke aspects of the outdoors and of being there: my great passion. To conjure up a sense of place, I use naturalistic or imaginary, bold or indistinct approaches. Galloway and Western Isles coast and seascapes contrast with dramatic and windswept mountains.
What to expect: New paintings, oils in progress, pen and wash studies. See stages of displayed work in a slideshow, print browsers, bargain rack and competition available. “Bards of Galloway” brings a new literary dimension!
