Formerly I worked with textiles but am now concentrating more on painting. My work, which is predominantly in a loose, abstract style, is influenced by colour, texture, pattern and balance and aims to create the atmosphere and essence of place.
What to expect: There will be cards, mounted, framed and canvas works and a display showing the connection between my textiles and painted pieces. Throughout the weekend I will demonstrate applying watercolour to a gessoed surface and on Monday, between 1-3 pm, visitors can try it for themselves.
