I am an artist and printmaker. Much of my work is based on drawing, preferably working outside, capturing seasonal changes in the Galloway countryside. Alongside wider landscapes, I look at details of hedgerows, gardens and allotments.
What to expect: New work will include paintings in watercolour, pen and ink as well as a wide range of new and recent etchings and lithographs. Sketchbooks and visual information on techniques and working methods will be displayed, along with my etching press and tools with occasional demonstrations.
Directions: From Springholm on the A75, follow signposts for Kirkpatrick Durham. 23 Victoria Street is half-way up the village on the left – a short, narrow lane leads to the bothy.
