I graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a BA(Hons) Degree in Ceramic Design and have been a practising potter for the last 30 years. In the last few years I have diversified into 2D painting, printmaking and mixed media.
What to expect: At this point I’m not entirely sure what direction my work will take as I will be moving back and forth from 2D to 3D either in clay or whatever materials come to hand. And there will definitely be some really big selfies.
Directions: From Dumfries train station, turn right along Lovers Walk then right again into Edinburgh Road. Gracefield Arts Centre is signposted on your right.
Accessibility: Gallery 2, where I am located, is completely on the flat and has full wheelchair access. Gallery 1 has full wheelchair access to the ground floor but only stairs to the first floor.
Recommendation: Cafe Hubbub, Gracefield Art Centre – great selection of soups, lunches and baking.
Guess the weight of the pot competition open to everyone.
