I am an artist, muralist and illustrator. Last year I gained a degree in Literature and Philosophy. Through my art I try to convey my interest in and understanding of these subjects; illustrating narratives and ideas about the human experience is my main creative impetus.
What to expect: Visitors will be able to see my artwork in all of its stages, from my research sketchbooks, to works in progress, to finished pieces. You can also browse my library as I demonstrate how I adapt literature into visual art.
Directions: Go to Dumfries and Galloway College, the studio is to the right of this building at the furthest most point of the Crichton grounds
Accessibility: My studio is accessible to vehicles, with a lot of onsite parking. However, you will have to take the stairs to my space, which is on the first floor.
Recommendation: The Stove Café – great food, coffee, atmosphere and community. I would particularly recommend their specialist teas and hot chocolate.
