I graduated from Grays School of Art in 2018 in Three-Dimensional Design with Ceramics. I am inspired by the Coast and I use this as a main source of inspiration when creating my ceramic pieces. I work in hand-building and small batch thrown pieces.
What to expect: You can expect to see a large variation of my mould work pieces which are directly inspired by rocks found at coastal locations around Scotland. I will talk you through my process and you will be able to see the stages in which I progress.
Directions: My studio is between King St and Queen St. Follow signs at Town clock.
Accessibility: Steep stairs.
Recommendation: The Merrick in the Galloway Forest is a brisk, moderately difficult and especially challenging hike with impressive views over the Galloway hills.
