I paint from on site sketches and photographs, with a dollop of imagination thrown in. Generally, I use charcoal lines overlaid with dilute acrylic pigment. This year I’ve been inspired by some New England views, particularly the boats and colourful wooden lobster buoys.
What to expect: Original paintings, prints and cards will be for sale. I usually have on show montages of photographs illustrating how some of the works progressed from the original sketch through the various layers of painting, right up to the finished work.
