My studio overlooks the Hass Burn and the babbling water creates an aura of calm which combined with my garden flowers is bliss. This is the atmosphere which enables me to create, cut patterns and make the garments and scarves that will be on display.

What to expect: There will be a range of samples from which orders can be made. A myriad of coloured fabrics in wool tweed and silk and a huge selection of my embroidered scarves in pure gauze-like cashmere.

Directions: On the A711 just past the bridge second house on the right in Auchencairn at the bottom of the village. Studio is at the end of the garden.

Accessibility: There is a sloping driveway, and a path through the garden to the studio. Parking is on the street only. Three steps lead up to the studio.

Recommendation: Next door is a shop which now sells wonderful coffee, cakes and soups at lunchtime. Vicky and James have made the shop full of organic produce.
