I make vessels and sculptural forms, primarily from wood, but also ceramics and concrete. I aim to make beautiful shapes and forms, that both reflect the environment and our relationship to it, balance and fragility treated as essential.
What to expect: In my studio you will see new work, works in progress, examples of my making process, tools I use and also inspirational objects I keep around – like books and images. I’ll also guide you through the process from chunk of wood to final piece.
Directions: Just off the A75, look for the house next to Mouswald Lodge Park (about one mile from the village) there is a large driveway and a white garage.
Accessibility: The studio is accessible with wheelchair, however toilets are inside the house, which has two steps to access.
Recommendation: Kedar Cheese Co. – Artisan Mozzerella and Milk. At Beyond the Burn Farm in Mouswald.
