I make violins by hand, using a combination of age old craft and new technology. I focus on optimising sound quality and producing a beautiful finish for each instrument and the rich golden varnish I make from local ingredients, is a distinguishing feature of my violins.
What to expect: See my instruments in their various stages of construction, the specialist tonewoods and hand tools used for construction. Smell the local propolis and pine resins mixed to make varnish. Hear the violins. Musicians are welcome to come and play throughout the day.
