Most of our artists and makers welcome visitors of all ages – look out for the Family Friendly icon in the brochure, or see the information in the Virtual Studios.

In addition, several offer special activities or attractions which might appeal to younger people.

Get Creative with…

Sally Jennings at Glenlair!

Join Sally for a fun collaborative painting activity where visitors of all ages can add to a shared canvas using safe, child-friendly paints.

Try out unique painting techniques with scrapers and squeegees, or explore the interactive lightbox with 35mm abstract slides: layer and move them around to create your own miniature artworks!

A playful and creative space for all ages (children should be accompanied by a parent or carer).

Get Creative with…

Linda Irving!

Bring the little ones (accompanied by a parent or carer) to Linda’s studio for a fun and hands-on crafting experience! They’ll have the chance to create adorable felt flowers or design their very own mini seascapes. Linda will guide them step by step, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone.

Plus, if you want to continue the creativity at home, Linda offers a range of craft kits for purchase! Perfect for more family fun long after the visit.

Get Creative with…

Kerry Samantha Boyes!

At Kerry’s studio, there’s fun for all ages! Children (accompanied by a parent or carer) can enjoy exploring the store and discovering the different foods on display. They’ll also love the lucky dip, colouring activities, and a chance to join in with the “Real or Fake” Raspberries casting game!

It’s a playful, hands-on experience where everyone can get involved, with plenty of opportunities for creativity and fun for the whole family!
