Bring back the brooch! I love working with precious metals and age-old tools. A change of venue for me this year, sharing Amanda’s space, is an opportunity to show some of the processes I use at my bench, transforming miniature sculpture and engineering into functional jewellery. Cabinets of lustrous pearls, polished gold and silver, simple shapes, fine details and finish: all will be revealed. I continue to state my admiration for all jewellers who made stunning work before the invention of electricity. It is humbling.
