Catherine Corfield, a contemporary oil painter, living and working in the picturesque Glenkens area of Dumfries and Galloway. Her artistic journey is deeply intertwined with the natural beauty of this region, and human connection with nature but most recently focusing on more figurative and portraiture work.

Catherine’s vision extends beyond aesthetics. She is an eco-conscious artist, committed to creating beautiful yet environmentally-friendly artwork. Her practises prioritise sustainability, ensuring that her creative process doesn’t harm the environment.

About My Practice

Through her art, she encourages viewers to reconnect with the land around them, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
