I am a designer and illustrator based in Kirkcudbright. I design texture rich, British wildlife themed home and giftware that I sell from my studio shop.
About My Practice
I am inspired by my direct experiences of the natural world around me. My designs often start with a field trip, where I use my sketchbook or camera to record my visit, I then use this source material as the starting point for new designs.
Tools & Materials
I use a mix of traditional mark making techniques and digital tools to create my designs. I largely work from my studio shop in Kirkcudbright where I make my small batch lampshades, cushions, napkins and tea towels.
