A regular participant in Spring Fling Open Studio Weekend since returning to the Region in 2010-11, I’m delighted to open my furniture design studio not only at this time, but throughout the year.

Traditionally over the Open Weekend, I collaborate with artists from other disciplines (ceramics and jewellery to date), adding extra interest to the event.

If planning to call outwith the Open Weekend, please make contact prior to arriving – in case I’m out in the woodlands sourcing timber or inspiration for new projects.

As an award-winning designer-maker of contemporary fine furniture, I produce sustainably: mainly from self-harvested, seasoned and dried local hardwoods. A specialist in bespoke commissions, I also create exhibition pieces, and smaller limited-edition items.

And don’t forget – not only do I design and make everything myself, right to that last loving polish – I give bespoke masterclasses too. Just ask!
