Emerge is a fantastic programme that supports early career artists or makers with a £1,000 bursary and mentoring opportunities to help them develop both creatively and professionally. This year, our Emerge Bursaries were awarded to:

Family Friendly Fun at Spring Fling!
Spring Fling is a fantastic event for all ages! Three studios offered extra-special activities just for little ones.

Sally Jennings at Glenlair!
Sally ran a fun collaborative painting activity where visitors of all ages added to a shared canvas using unique painting techniques with scrapers and squeegees. Visitors also explored the interactive lightbox with 35mm abstract slides to create their own miniature artworks!

Linda Irving!
Little ones and their grown-ups visited Linda’s studio for a fun and hands-on crafting experience. They had the chance to create adorable felt flowers or design their very own mini seascapes.

Kerry Samantha Boyes!
At Kerry’s studio, visitors enjoyed exploring the store and discovering the different foods on display. They also loved the lucky dip, colouring activities, and joining in with the “Real or Fake” Raspberries casting game!
